I'm "published" sort of

I managed to get one of my short stories on a theme website! Here.
I've been working on a novel and in the meantime (when i want to change gears) i do a short. i'm especially proud of this one, it took a while to get "published."
I have another here.

my coworker challenged me to write a story with a strong female character. I decided to write the transition, or making of, a strong female character.

I'm not much on horror stories but did find it quite interesting. My wife loves horror and thought it was good. My daughter likes horror also but I thought it to be a bit too mature for her so I didn't let her read it. I suppose my only real disappoint was the fact that it was a zombie story and I didn't get to "see" any zombies. It does kinda leave me wanting more though, so keep writing and keep us tuned in, thanks.

the Zombie Apoc theme was the only way I could see such a situation presenting itself. One of the disclaimers on TOTZW's site is that the story doesn't necessarily have to present zombies, solong as the story is set in a zom apoc world. So that added another level of challenge.
I have zom's in my book and have kept them within the decay timeline (and stages of decay) derived from pathology studies and body farm records. I had no idea how horrible decay could present itself on an unpreserved corpse. Sheesh.
