I'm setup for TTM now what

I already have a firefish in quarantine but since his tankmate died after a week he will be there for a while.

So i just bought a couple 10 gallon tanks and air stones and another heater so I can do the tank transfer method but from what I have read that only treats ich. What else will I need to treat other diseases.

I have read about quick stop which is a 45 min dip in formalin and then a 45 min dip in methylene blue. Would this be a good approach to treat for all the common diseases we deal with? I know that 6-8-10 weeks in quarantine is the best rout but I am tired of having a tank that that is cycled and ready to go but I can't put fish in it.

Here is the quick version of my impatient reefer qt process. I hate waiting as well but I am cautious. I have a 72g qt I guess you could call observation tank. I use this for fish slightly more delicate than usual. Straight into that tank they go, where I observed for a couple days, get them eating well etc. Then I dose prazi 2 doses 5 days apart per instructions. Watch them from a couple days to however long you want from there. I then begin ttm no matter what. By this time if there was velvet you would know or they would be dead already.

Then ttm and directly into display. That is my method and it works great for me, I've been doing that for 2 years or a little more.

You could also only do ttm and dose prazi on the 2nd and 4th transfer. Then straight to tank. I use that on hardier fish. It is true that will only remove ich and flukes etc for the prazi treatment but velvet is fast and other things are easily noticeable such as bacterial infection etc. You can always change the plan if needed. I have not had to yet.

Once I have a few fish in the DT and start adding the cleanup crew it won't be as bad to wait for a longer quarantine but I really want somthunt to see in the tank. I am getting tired of looking at rocks.

My QT process: formalin dip, TTM mixed with prazipro. Then monitored for 6 weeks.
