I'm so tempted to order

With all the positive reviews, I'm tempted to order a small amount of LR. I wish I would have known anout TBS before I started my tank.
Anyway, I have a 58 gallon tank. I have about 50lbs of cured LR in the tank and just put in 50lbs of non live sand(forget the name at the moment), but it's fine sand.
I'm wanting to buy 20lbs of TB live rock and about 5lbs of LS to seed my sand. I do not have any fish or cleaning crew yet.

Would I be able to just add the TBS LR right to my tank? OR should I go the RM Brute route again, the only problem with that is, I only have one skimmer and it's running in my main tank.

Any suggestions for me on this would be great, thanks!

I'd figure as long as you don't have any kind of livestock in there.. you'd be ok for the most part, just realize you may have unwanted hitchhikers to deal with.

IMHO:

get at least 25 or 30 pounds of gulf live sand.
then take 20-30 pounds of the other sand out.

why? 5 is not going to "Seed" the other 50 very well.
also the sand you get from tbs is a lot more than just "wet sand" you will find tiny star fish and snails and all kinds of good guys in it.

but yea if you have a new tank w/o fish or corals then get the tbs in there now and let it do it's thing.
