So today is the day that my new light fixture comes in. I had it shipped to my wifes work, just in case I wasnt around. Usually fedex gets to her place just before they close but not today. Today they got there first thing with my light. I dont know how I managed to not drive to her work just to get it. If the sun was out I probably wouldnt have been able to stay away.

Anyways I'm here waiting like a child, any minute I'll hear the garage door open.

Go figure, just got a text from the Mrs. saying she has to stop by the store first before she comes home. Looks like I'll be waiting just a bit longer...

Haha, isn't it funny how silly we get over new reef toys? I picked up my new frag tank light the other day, and instead of going to bed (it was 10pm when I finally got it home), I spent like 5 hours making my suspension system and couldn't even think of sleeping until it was hung, working, and on a timer. Then once it was all done I spent at least an hour just admiring the new lighting.

A little off topic but i been shopping for a new dirt bike its funny that 100 yards of fill showed up one day in my yard and my wife asked whats that for. After i cracked out the skid steer and built 2 big tabletops jumps she kinda figured out i was gonna get a dirt bike.

Fairly PO'd right now. The light came today with no T5 bulbs and no external ballasts. Of course called Current and had to leave a message.

It seems fedex put two of the boxes on a truck that doesnt run Mondays, whatever that means.

bummerr... I hate when that happens..I hate when I order stuff and no ones ever home to except delivery,I swear the guy waits around the corner for everyone to leave rushes to the house and hangs the door tag and peals out..

They light came in and I got some more rock in. The rock will look much better once its placed and adjusted. Right now there is a bunch of rock piled up that will be coming out once this stuff is live again.

I like the light, will be happy once the 10k's are used up and I switch to something a bit more blue. Being a newer tank the extra growth from the 10k will be appreciated though.

Gotcha, Magnum 350 with a micron filter. Just using it to polish the water while I cloud everything up.

Yes USPS does that. Soundreefer watched them walk the tag to the door and leave. he went to the post office and they say it is on the truck. So why didn't they bother to knock? Needless to say the manager at post office dropped off box after he got off work that day.

Thanks. Yep, changed out the fiberglass with the exception of one piece that was epoxy'd in. I dont think the fiberglass would have been a problem, a large number of frag tanks are fiberglass. But just to be on the safe side I swapped them out.
