Im winning the gha war

Well after what seems like forever im finally winning the gha war. Everyday now the algae is literally receeding at a very noticable rate. Now the only algae I have is down to a 3 inch section on some base rock near the sand. The combo that worked for me is kent tech m for the bryopsis, my ats, 25 g water changes every 2 weeks, phosban reactor, and a lawnmower blenny and snails and hermits to clean up the dying and dead gha. I dont even have gha in my powerheads anymore and water is crystal clear. Hopefully now my corals will begin to grow and color up alot better now like I want them to. Even the gha on my coral frags is gone so now they can finally spread over the plugs. Just felt like sharing my triumph over this beast of gha, it wasnt overnight but more like 2 months of hard work and trial and error. It paid off and im happy.

...me too, bryopsis was driving me nuts till i found the thread about using kent tech m to kill it....now its all gone...have some cyano still being a pain but its slowly fading away too...how old is your tank?

Freetareef yes I used the ats ti get my nutrients down and its works very effectivly. The ONLY thing that bothered me about it was the particles that float around due to me not having much mechanical filtration and pods multiplying like crazy in ats screen. But I have since added a good 50 extra pounds of live rock for the dt to better handle pods and give them a place to hide and breed in. but all together me resuming good husbandry and rock scrubbing 2 times and eleminated the gha problem.
