well did anyone from here win anything good i couldnt make it there again today so missed the raffle but hope the locals took home the good stuff

39$ in raffle tickets won me an ORA sps frag, a Deltec fluidized reactor.....and a 180 RR set up from Marineland! :) My wife is following me around, trying to make sure I am not cutting any more holes in the wall for another tank! IMAC was great...even if I would not have won a thing. The lectures where very informative, and there where some very nice corals to be had! Kudos out to those in charge..Dennis, and everyone who had a hand in planning the event.

I got some clown fish from him, a pair for 10 bucks. He was auctioning off all of the livestock and rock, except for one of the tangs, I am not shure which one tho. Beautiful tank tho! He didn't make what he should have on the sale, 110 bucks for all that live rock....

Thanks guys. The 180 came with a lot of stuff...salt, little giant pump, sea clone skimmer(for a 180!?!?), food, tidepool sumps. I am not sure exactly what I am going to do with it, but I will find a place for it that's for sure. It won't be for a while though, as I already have one 180 tank up, and we are expecting another baby in August. Maybe a FOWLR or a sea grass/seahorse/pipefish set up. When it does go up though I'd like to mirror a certain biotope, just not sure which one.

That awesome live rock was actually $111 ... found an extra buck in my pocket when I pulled out the cash ;-)

Well, he was silly on the rock, because he talked to me first and I offered $100 for half the rock. Good deal Sara. Did you know the guy?

Congratulations on getting the LR Sara! :D

If I had won the 120, I really woulda given it to you!!! ;)

I thought the raffle was great, but that's partly because I won ORA Clam #9, ORA Coral #19 and a huge gift certificate from Ocean's Floor! WooHoo!:bum:

I actually talked to the guy right after the raffle was done and told him I wanted the rock and he said I could have it. I also stayed around and helped him bag the corals and the fish along with another friend. He wanted $200 for it but he was grateful for the help and I got a really good deal. It was a win-win!
