Immune

I have a giant RBTA in my tank and I was wondering what corals are immune to it's sting??? I am also curious if other BTAs can touch the RBTA without a problem, I.E. can a red and a green grown together on the same rock? What about other types of nems, like maxi minis?

To start it off, I have a blue ridge coral which is constantly being touched by the RBTAs tenticals and is no worse for the wear; except he puts his polyps out less often.

Here is a pic, for scale the tank is a 125

None of them are immune to the sting. In some cases, animals can live next to an anemone without issue. Most likely because they don't get stung. It's pretty common in clams. I've had it happen with open brains too. It's much less common with other diurnal animals that have their tentacles out during the day.

You have kept clams with nems? I would love to do that but I thought a clam would get stung really bad. I noticed that Xenia can't take the sting at all. :(
