Imp Angel

A week and a half ago I lost a fish to a internal parasite. Now my Imp Angel won't eat and has what looks like to be a hole on the side of him. What can I do? If what we were told is true and we had an internal parasite can that spread in my tank? If anyone can answer this it would be greatly appreciated.

It can't be spread per say

If they touch each other it is not spread that way but if they are like my fish they will eat someone elses waste

Which will then ingest the parasite. You need to pull out and put into quarintine and treat.

where is the hole on the side of him?

Internal worms are not eating through your fish and making a hole in him, he might have something else.

I can't send a pic, it died today and I already disposed of it. Never took him out of the tank but treated the tank with Polyplab. Have you ever heard of it?
