Impatient New Reefer needs Help

I've had corals in my tank for about a month and a half now.

I was just curious about how long it will take to expect some growth. I know they are slow growers, but I haven't seen much at all since I put them in. Good thing is they seem healthy.

Parameters:

PH 8.2-8.4
Salinity 1.0255-1.0260
Zero ammo no2 no3
Po4 .01-.03
Alk 9-9.5
CA 430-480

These parameters are relatively stable and have been measured multiple times weekly over a month. I measure alk and CA every other day.

Corals are as follows;

Blasto wellsi
Frogspawn
red and blue acan
Duncan

I also have a Kenya tree, birdsnest, and stylo that are doing well, but i'm trying to focus on LPS for this thread. Kenya tree isn't growing and I thought they were supposed to be fast growers.

Any help is appreciated thanks.

From what I've read, Duncans are one of the faster growing LPS- but most people that wrote that are saying that they feed them as well.

I've had my Duncan a little over a month with little growth.

I have a hammer, which is in a similar family as the frogspawn and after four months or so it looks like I am getting some new heads from the base.

Some of my corals have taken months just to get settled in.

My bit of experience with LPS is they seem to grow very slow. I wouldn't expect any visually noticeable grow in a month. If they are open, healthy looking and with good lighting and level parameters they are growing, slowly. Take a pic once a month. That way you can see their growth rate.

I would fully agree, and one of the reasons I started a tank build thread. It's awesome to be able to go back and see why I changed something, or to see coral/fish growth.

I think my birdsnest and kentatree are starting to grow a bit.

You'll get sick of the Kenya weeds as soon as they start overtaking the tank.

LPS grow slowly. You'd need to have a well established system, with all the correct parameters to really see noticeable growth on LPS corals. Monthly pics are a good suggestion.

So after about 6 months since the last post on this thread my duncan has 4 heads (double split) my frogspawn has 4 heads (double split) but my blasto still looks almost the same except for a small tiny head that is growing at the base maybe the size of a pen tip.

Should the blasto be growing moreso? I haven't fed it much manually and I've just read that it will accept foods like mysis, maybe thats the issue? i also know they are slow growers. Every time I try to give it small bits of shrimp it pushes them away.

I feed everything which displays a feeding response with melted Mysis or brine
From a syringe with a long piece of ridged airline tube, twice per week.

What is the airline for? To make the placement gentle on the coral?
