In dire need of plumbing help

Ok, when I was scoping out the best way to attach dynamite to my sump, I think I see the problem for the whole mother flippin thing.

Where the bulkead is attached: I was down on the floor and looked straight through the blukhead, I can see an air bubble at the very top of it. So it makes sense, as the water speed increases, that bubble get closer and closer to being pulled around the elbow into the pump. So, it looks like I need to reattach the bulkhead in a non leaking way.

The rubber side of the bulkhead should be on the wet or dry side?

Wet I believe. But you've probably found this out already.

Did that fix it?

Im gonna go out on a limb and say this hellish nightmare is over.

I overreacted a little earlier When I started everything up, I needed some more water in the sump yadda yadda yadda air in the pipe yadda yadda yadda just need to be cranked up and cleared out.
