In need of Electrical Advice

So i am trying to figure out a way where i can set up a 100 gal frag tank and a nice fish setup in my garage without blowing the breaker. I blew it last time so i just gave up and shut down all my tanks. Looking for a better option on supplying more power to the garage.

how did you blow the breaker?
To much power there is no outlets available in the garage except 1 that comes off a lightbulb.so i run extension cords outside to 2 other plugs but my inlaw has a bunch plugged in already. I have asked the land lord if i can add a breaker individually for the garage but he denies.

i think it's time to find another place

Perhaps there is an old 220 volt outlet for a dryer in the garage that is unused. Thats what I did. Removed the 220 volt and added 2 - 110 volt gfci

If you have a meter you can measure the loads of each line then pick the one with with enough amps to support your tank.

Is your box full? Add another circuit. My buddies company can easily run you a new circuit if you have the space in your box. Shoty eletrical and battery charges left plugged in is number one cause of house fires.
