OK I posted in the longe a few days ago about putting a dead piece of corral and 2 dead star fish in my 125 tank.
(what a mistake, what was I thinking !!!) I had taken it all back out in an houror so once I realized that this crap was starting to smell , but now I have a bigger problem my Large size Queen Trigger is now bloated I'm assuming from picking at the star fish that day and might have eating a piece of it .
It has been not eating since that day and now, it is so bloated to the point that it doesn't want to swim around just sits there and sets its triggers up to keep in one place. I'm not sure if it's too late to do anything. He's not gasping for air either just a slow gill movement
I have done a big water change since then and all my parameters are fine NO ammonia, nitires or nitrates. and ph is 8.2 and temp is a constant 79.9 degrees.
It sucks to loose something with this much time invested into it. I'm not concerened about the money factor, that's not the point. I guess in a crazy way you kinda get attached to these creatures and don't like to see them suffer.
all of my othe rfish are ok swimming around fine and eating like usuall.
If anyone has anysuggestions It would be greatly appreciated.
