Hey everyone. If you don't know I am very new to this. I was wondering if anyone had some live rock to get of or know of a place where I can get a decent price. I only need about 5-6 pounds. It has to be already cured as I am unable to do it myself. Any help would be great.. Thanks

To eveyone that has replied thanks. I am still looking for about 5 pounds or so. I really prefer light porous pieces. I can pay by paypal and pick if need be. I live in Pittsfield, mass.. Let me know.

I have about 60 lbs. avail. I can sell you as little as you want (5-6 is fine). $6.50 per pound. Cured and nice porus Fiji. I do take paypal. I can ship it, or you can take the drive and stop in.

Healthy Pet Center in East Greenbush has rubble rock for $2.50 a pound (small/medium and some larger sized pieces) you'll get a crap load of rock for the 5-6lbs worth you desire and well it's not all that far from I-90 if you come from the mass-pike ...

Hello. None of you have been in yet to see what I got to offer, yet you keep throwing in every place everybodys been to and seen. I'll do my best to beat anybodys price. I always have the time, and I got sweet stuff. O.K. here we go.....any RC member that comes in and says hi to me on Monday or Tuesday gets there choiceof a free Anthillia or Montipora. Hows that. If that don't grab ya than I got nothin'.

Ryan - I actually did stop in to Country Living today just to see what the place was all about. I realize you had mentioned that you were not in on Sundays, but I was in the area so I thought I would check it out anyway.

When I walked in, I was blown away by the size of that cichlid (I think it was a cichlid -- the pink one) in the freshwater in-wall tank. It looked like a really nice hardware store (I will make a trip there as an alternative to Lowe's or Home Depot when I am in the area). Then I came upon the pet section which really surprised me - lots of interesting stuff there (very cool lizards, some turtles, some fun ferrets, other furry mammals, birds, and of course the coral tanks) - my kids were in heaven.

2 deep coral tanks with a pretty good selection and pricing that seemed as good or better than some of the other LFS's I have been to recently. Most of the pieces were smaller but I think that is good - not many of us are interested in spending $100 a pop for the nice showpiece coral. There seemed to be a good amount of live rock in at least one other tank (may have been two tanks), but I really didn't look much at the rock.

Thought it was an interesting store and I will go back.

Kevin
