Hey everyone. Just got a 55 gal tank that im setting up. Hopping that i can rid myself of hair algae by scrubbing down the rocks when i move them from the 30 gal. Anyway. Im looking for a few things to buy.
1) Dry rock. About 20 lbs would be great. I dont care if it ever had issues. From here out any rock i get will get an acid bath and dosed with lanthanum before curing.
2) Small power heads korlias preferably or anything with the magnet style not suction. If not ill order from Drf&S
3) Skimmer for something to handle a system with 85 gallons. Currently have a prizm and an aquatic life 115. Im going to tie my 20 long into this system so the prizm is in that and the aquatic life will be in the 10gal sump. But i wouldn't mind getting rid of the 115 with something bigger.
Let me know if anyone has anything if i dont hear from anyone in a while ill probably do a BRS order to get rock. Thanks! And keep your eyes out for some pics on my 55 build!
