In search of wet/dry trickle filter to handle a 125 Gal.

I'm in the process of putting together a new system for my freshwater Angels .... Just picked up the tank last week and trying to get all the pieces of the puzzle together to get this thing up and running. The tank is an AGA with the built in overflows, so I'm kind of committed to using some type of sump system. I have a bunch of Bio Ball and would consider building one too out of a tank or Rubbermaid container etc. So looking for a presetup system or creative ideas/plans to complete my task at hand.

Have lots of media and some experience building such devices. if interested, post reply in this public forum where we can meet in a public place where there are people around. Maybe bring a friend.

I may have a 30 gal comming avial in a few weeks, otherwise, use the media calculator for the media you are using and calc the cubic inches of media you will need. I always used 1.5 times the media. also if you can plan a prefilter into your w/d - I always like those, their nice.

Maybe we can meet someday if it's ok with your mom and dad.

That tank looks waaaaaaaaaaaaay too nice for freshwater lol.
Just kidding of course. I just got my kid a new 10 gal. freshwater and I like her tank too. Even though I suck at keeping freshwater fish hehe.
