Hello everyone,
I've recently started up the plumbing on my 75g reef tank, and i'm wondering what level i should keep the water at in the internal overflow box. I don't want to run it too high and risk a flood, but i like a cleaner tank and plan to run floss in my sump, so a higher turnover is probably going to help keep it cleaner. Also, the higher the level in the internal box, the quieter the HOB overflow runs. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've included a picture of how i currently have it. It's a Lifereef overflow. In the picture, you can see the teeth up top, and then the lower line is the water level.
