I am setting up a 120 GLASS mixed reef in a few weeks and it seems that the above products are in a class of their own. Any more feedback out there? Anyone used both and have a preference?
Thanks.

Neither. Buy once and buy a MightyMagnet

Thanks Dmorty. Didn't see that one before and after a couple videos I'm going to order one. Heck, I was sold just on one of the names - Mighty Magnets Model F-15 in Action :) After wrenching on F-15's for years I was sold on the name alone - lol.

In all seriousness their site has a lot of useful information and reasonable videos of how they work. Thanks!

I looked at the MightyMag and tho impressive, it looks like it will trap sand and gravel, which will allow scratches on the glass!

Thanks everyone for your input. Since the voting was close and there was no negative on either, Figured I'd try the Tunze. I like the design of only the blades touch the glass. I'm really happy with it. It got some algae that the Mag Float was not getting. Partly because I was scared to scratch the glass with it. Like mentioned before the only thing I wish was better was the thin handle. It has a very smooth sliding feel as it cleans.
My glass has never looked cleaner.
Thanks again!!!

I got the Tunze strong. Plumbing my 120 gallon tonight and may give it a try on my 60, tho am sure the magnet will be way too strong for that glass.

What all of them said, for all the same reasons

Yep, I'm throwing my vote in for the flipper. The blades need to be replaced fairly often and it takes a bit of practice to get the flip down, but the blade replacements are inexpensive and it doesn't compare to any other magnets in my opinion.
