My former tank was a 375g System, (275g DT); 4 months ago I bought my new home and decided to go bigger, also planned a fishroom for it.
As there was not too much space inside the house (And of course, Wife was not going to allow it too LOL) I designed it on the backyard with a Pergola in between the fishroom and the house.
First off, some general specs and equipment list:
Fishroom:
Depth: 9'
Width: 15'
Height:7'
System:
The main In-Wall display is Eurobraced with 1/2" glass (Normal glass not Low Iron) with external overflow.
The overflow has three dursos (Bean Animal System) and return line:
Display Tank: 96" x 34" x 28" (400g)
Sump: 56" x 26" x 18" (100g)
Fuge: 32" x 32" x 23" (100g)
Frag Tank (Still on development): 32" x 32" x 12" (50g)
Total system: 650g
Equipment:
Lightning:
6 Aquaillumination Super Blue Sol modules for Main DT
1 LED fixture with 6,500k Lights
Mechanical Filtration:
100 Micron Socks at sump
Reactor, Vertex UF-20 Reactor with Carbon
Skimmer, Super Reef Octopus XP-5000 External
Natural Filtration:
Chaetomorpha in Fuge
Live Rock (Over 200 Pounds)
Live Sand (Over 200 Pounds)
Water Mixing Station:
Vertex Puratek 96 GPD with booster pump
65 Gallon RO/DI Container
65 Gallon Saltmix Container
Both of these inter-connected for water moving and mixing.
Controller:
Neptune Systems Apex
3 EB8 Bars (24 connections)
1 WXM for controlling Ecotech pumps
1 VDM for controlling AI modules
1 PM1 for PH probe over Calcium Reactor
2 PH Probes - 1 Temp - 1 ORP
1 Cisco Live CAM for Live Tank View
Pumps:
Water Blaster HY-16,000, feeding the Skimmer, Fuge and Display Tank.
Pan-World 100PX-X for Water mixing.
2 Ecotech MP-60's
1 Koralia EVO 1,050 in Fuge for Oxygenation
Others:
GEO 818 Calcium Reactor (In the middle of setting it up)
