I'm in need of some opinions: I plan on building a fish room. The display area is my den. My garage is behind the den. I want to install the tank in the wall. I only have about a 10' by 6' area to make this fishroom. From inside the den the space runs basically from the immediate end of a door that leads into the garage to a couch in the den. From inside the garage the space runs from the entrance door, along the wall for 10'. The tank is an Oceanic Ultimate 215 gal tank, dimensions are 72" x 24" x 29" H. Here is the problem; in the den I have this large sectional couch, on the same wall that will display the tank, (moving it is not an option). This leaves me approximately 76" on the wall before the tank is behind the couch. This doesn't seem to be a problem, since the tank is 72" until you take into consideration whether I need room to service the tank on each of the two ends (the 24" sides). Obviously one of the 24" sides will easily have access from the fishroom. The other side is the problem. I plan on having access to the front from the den side as well. Any solutions or opinions welcomed.
