I am have 2 maxi-jet 1200 running on 24g NANO DX, with 250w hqi over it, and a AquaC Remora HOB. Anyways I feel the flow is inadequate for SPS and LPS. What is the biggest pump I can fit in the back compartment, it will be connected to either a hydor flo or to the regular nozzle.

If you toss a hydor flo on any pump that will cut down on flow no matter what powerhead you put back there. I hate those stupid things with a passion.
Ever thought of adding a smaller powerhead to the display?
Another option I've seen (and I'll post a link later) people add a secong powerhead to chamber 2 and plumb it to dump out into the disply. I'll post the link tonight, I have it on my home PC.

I am looking to house acropora or montiporas. I actually have a frogspawn and a torch in there and it seems like they are loving the flow. I just want to get a pump strong enough for the hydor flo to push it across a small 24g tank. I have 2 power heads in the 3rd chamber. One connected to the factory spot where they put their nozzle, which I replaced with a hydor flow. The other maxijet is connected to some vinyl tubing which is glued to a Y connector which is connected to 2 x 1.5" flared nozzles. I was think of replacing both maxijets with something stronger because the flow coming out of the 2 nozzles and hydor does not reach to the whole tank.
I forgot to add my first chamber is where my heater and 3rd maxi jet 1200 that power the Remora. The skimmed water dumps into the 2nd chamber where I put the chaeto and some live rock at the bottom. 3rd chamber is the location of the 2 maxi jets which are used as power heads.
