In 2010 I traded with a friend who gave me a piece of his Incredible Hulk Acropora. Here is a picture of it in 2010; it had grown well under my then 2 x 250W MH lights:

I often made frags of my corals just in case something happen to the Mother Colony or just to get a cool frag that I could later trade. Here is one of the frags from 2010:

Well it happened"¦I lost my original colony but the fragged survived. I took the picture with my new underwater camera. Here is the frag doing very well under my then new LEDs (Feb 10, 2012):

I am pretty sure that this coral started to suffer from low Alkalinity. Here it is on the way to its demise; which is very unfortunate because this is one of my favorite corals.

The story is not over though"¦.last night I was trading with a different friend who also got the Incredible Hulk Acropora from my first friend. He gave me a nice frag which makes me very happy. While I was visiting my friend last night he told me that this coral looks a lot like the ORA Purple Plasma (Staghorn Acro).
So here are my questions to anyone who would like shine some light:
1. Has anyone ever heard of this coral being called "œIncredible Hulk Acro?"
2. Is my coral really an ORA Purple Plasma?
Thanks"¦..
