incredible shrinking zoas ...

can anyone tell me why some of my zoas seem to be shrinking ? my rpe's my purple hearts and my watermelon zoas all seem to be getting smaller

Sounds like they are melting away. Some times that happens i have hade it happen to me in the past. Have you tested your water to make sure nothing is wrong.

salinity
Nitrate
Nitrites
Phosphate
what kinda lighting, powerheads for flow? GPH? turnover
Sand bed? BareBottom? DSB?
New polyps? Old, moved them around, new introductions lately?
WHat kind of fish ?
Seen any of these buggers around your polyps of tank before ?

tank parameters are solid , 150 halide no new introductions, moved a few things around , tanks been the same for a few months

Did you made any change in alkalinity ?

pH and Alk issues always hit polyps hard IMO and experience with my tanks.
