Indentify this Seahorse

One of the local fish store just got a few of these in and couldn't tell me what they are (lots of guesses though). Can someone identify this horse for me.

erectus . they must not know much about them since they couldnt tell you what it is.

Yes, the guy I spoke to did not know much about them. I've talked to another fish store that has similar ones and they had to call their supplier when I asked what kind they were and then indentified them as H. Kelloggi.

Do erectus get this big? It's much bigger than my H. Comes, and I thought those were pretty big.

yes more so if they were wild caught. since cb are sold smaller

That's what I thought when I saw it, that it was probably wild caught and not captive bred.

It is definitely H. erectus. H. comes are actually a slightly smaller seahorse than the ones more commonly seen like H. erectus and H. reidi.
