I am having a hard time finding info on the tunze rocks. I would like to add on to my tank to hide the powerhead but I would like to no the demensions first. Am have limited areas I could place the rock and would like to know if it would fit before I purchased one.

Could you give demensions on the Tunze Nanostream® Rock (6025.250)
and Tunze Stream Rock (6200.250).

Any tank shots with these being used?

The main deciding factor is pump model, Nano Stream rock will only hold 6015, 6025, 6045 and 6055, the Stream rock will hold 6105, 6205, 6305, 6095, 6065, 6085, 6125. The pumps insert into a PVC coupler in the rock that fits the output nozzle so they are specific to our pumps models.

The Nano Stream rock is roughly 5" on all sides, the Stream rock is 8" by 8" by 6" high.

The rock needs to be the top rock on a structure as the pump will need to be easily removable for cleaning.

Thanks for the info. Really the main deciding factor is the size of the rock. I currently have enough flow but was wanting to place one of these rocks on both sides of my return. This would add more flow to the bottom half of my tank when the coral start to fill in. It appears I will have to go with the Nano due to the smaller size with a 6045 powerhead. These will also be placed on the sandbed. Will I have to angle them up more to keep the flow from stirring up the bed?

If placed on the sand bed, the pump will suck in sand and be destroyed, the bottom is completely open. You would need some sort of solid base but the pump is angled up at about 30 degrees so it should not blow the sand unless it was very fine sugar sand.

If you can get it elevated so sand cannot come in, it should be fine, but if the acrylic is sitting right on the sand I think it will eventually settle in and allow sand into the pump.
