Injured clownfish

This morning while checking over the tank, noticed that the larger of our two false perc's (L) gill cover looks like it is missing and the (L) gill is protruding. Almost looks like the gill flap somehow rolled underneath the gill structure. The (R) side gill cover is normal as is our other clown's gill covers...Tried to get a picture for the site, but our camera just isnt up to the task w/o removing the fish from the tank and stressing it out... Basically, it is about a 1 3/4" long clown and the area in question is about the size of a small pea where you can see the gills. Everyone is eating normally, no signs of illness on any other fish (Yellow tank, randalli goby, cleaner wrasse, royal gramma, 3x anthia's, 4x peppermints and 1 coral banded along with the usual accompaniment of cleaner snails). Only powerheads that the fish could have gotten close to are the K3/K4's in the corners...thoughts?

thanks for the info :)

Thanks for the link, but none of the described illnesses fit the description as noted above....fish still doing fine and eating normally... still cant figure out why its only on the (L) side unless he scraped himself on a piece of coral and injured the operculum?
