Input needed on anthias....

Jeeper in my free time
So i've had two pink anthias (unknown scientific name) for over a year now. Up until about 2 months ago both were fine, swimming around and eating well. Then about 4 weeks ago the female started hiding in one spot and has never come out. She never leaves her spot and hasn't seemed to lose any weight. Then for the last 2 days the male has begun hiding all day long. Neither comes out to eat, and neither leaves their locations (seperate but close).

Both were full grown when i got them, so is it possible they are getting close to their maximum lifespan, or something else. The only change to the tank has been the addition of another tang, although this was after the female began hiding. Nothing else is different.

Sounds like their typical behavior before they die. Most people that lose theirs tend to report this behavior within the first 2-3 months, and then they start to die off one by one. Unless you can get them to come out and eat, I think you're in trouble. Short of getting them out of the tank(good luck with that) to segregate and try to get them to eat, I'm not sure what you could do. Try soaking some food in the EcoSystems Garlic maybe, or live foods. Good luck.
