Ok I am designing a sump tank for my 140RR Oceanic. The foot print of the tank is as follows... 48"x24"x28". I have yet to build a stand but those dimensions should give you an idea of how big my sump will be. Id like to put a small prop area as well as a large refugium if at all possible. From what I have read from melev's reef is that both require low flow. I figure ill be turning my tank over 1000gph so thats pretty high flow. How would I go about designing a sump with the intentions of a prop area and a large fuge in that foot print somehow redirecting the flow so it won't deem the prop and fuge useless due to such high flow?
