Insane Tank idea?

I was just bored and thought of this insane tank idea. It would be a literal fish room with all four walls having one huge square tank going around the room and a break for a door. It would definitely be something for when I get a house and have a but load of money. I couldnt post it but just copy this and insert it into the url for the sketch. It looks to be about 5236 total gallons. Quite a project. What an awesome tank though.

sounds like a cool idea though, but it would take up so much space to be practical. if you have the space why not right

You could go in there at midnight, turn on 100% actinic lighting, listen to dark side of the moon by pink floyd. Make sure to add a kick @## sound system and a nice revolving leather recliner right in the middle of that setup!

That would make it totally worth it!

why not make the ceilng have a tank in it while youre at it??? that way you can recline all the way back and still be lookin at your creation

I cant figure out how to post the drawing but you get the idea. I think it would be something that would have to definitely be built in while the house is being built or I would have to add on a room. I would love to do it one day though.

go to the main RC page
then go to 'photo gallery' on the left links panel

there should then by an 'upload photos' button off to the right, above the list of directories.

follow the steps and then you copy the URL of the image once it takes you to the page.

to place it in a thread use (img) URL (/img)

use brackets [] instead of parenthatese () I had to use () otherwise the site would have culled it out.

I thought of this idea many years ago. I would build it out of concrete. I would have a spiral staircase come in the middle. That way the tank could go all 4 sides.

No doubt, you mean occasionally adding acetic acid to help dampen the effect of the kalk infusion. :rollface:

Yes, that is insane....but I admit to thinking about the same idea.

To add to the insane ideas thread....

I considered making the bar that surrounds my tank actually part of the tank. I thought it would be pefect for clams!

Then there was the aquarium coffee table. (someone has actually done this one, but not as well as I had it planned...)
