hello to all.
after deciding my 100g system isnt capable of handling the nitrate levels, ive plumbed in a 20g remote deep sand bed. just wondering how long untill the beneficial bacteria begin to colonize in the sand and an effect is noticeable on the nitrate levels?
no rush really, just interested in how long a process like this take?
