Installed a ReefKeeper 2!

Got my ReefKeeper set up, configured, and installed tonight. I'm all excited.

The big decision was where to put the control head? So as an interim location I put it top ceter of stand. (double sided foam tape) Man I'm glad I did not cut out the hole and "mount" it. 10 minutes later my 5 year old walks by and says.. "Pretty and blue daddy"

Awwww man......... So now I've had a talk with the kids as to not touch the panel!! Definetely will be moving it later but not sure where yet. Maybe on the side of the canopy. If you're about to install a reef controller and the head will in an external location, you might also consider an interim location/mounting technique!

Hey Robert,
I hooked mine up tonight. So far its looking good. I mounted mine on the wall next to the tank. I don't have any kids, but just in case . . .

I like the wall idea. I wanted mine in view also. BTW, the cable that connects the control head to the power module is standard cat5 network cable. You can get a longer lead at almost any computer store. All kinds of colors too. (Fry's)
