To hold one of my Seio 1500's. Had tried to see if a large mag float would hold the weight, but it kept sliding down on me. This Sure Grip 100 thing is rock solid and smaller than the mag float. Easy to set up as they give you 4 different clip things that hold different pumps. One thing that was really cool for me on this is that no matter how I tried to aim my Seio hanging on the back of the tank, I had to keep it tuned way back because opening it up just a little bit was reflecting off the front tank wall and drifting my shallow sandbed. I have this magnet mounted on the side now and have the pump wide open and no problems at all, so now I can get the full flow from it. One thing different from using a mag float is that with a mag float you can move and turn a pump as you please to aim it. With these, after I installed I tried to move it a little, but it has these little rubber feet glued to the bottom and all I accomplished was ripping two of those off while trying to move it. Had to take everything back out while I got the feet stuck back on the outside half of the magnet. A bit expensive (that's why I only got one for now) but effective at what it's supposed to be used for.
