I finally got around to plumbing up the sump I've had sitting here, and was able to put the skimmer in it. I'm sure this thing will do great in the tank.
I plugged the skimmer up with the collection cup off and it filled with foam very quickly. I had to hurry to get the cup on it before it overflowed. I put a couple elbows and piece of pipe on the outlet so that it didnt splash water everywhere and make a ton of noise. I can't even hear this thing run at all now.

Oh, and thanks to Travis for the chaeto. I've got it in the sump and hopefully the copepods will do well in there. I guess I need to put some food in there occasionally to be sure.
