It needs to be cyanoacrylate glue for it to be reef safe.
anything that is superglue or superglue gel....Gel is better, due to it not being so thin...I use cyanoacrylate IC-Gel, that is the best stuff in the world to use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oooo ic gel, i saw that on line somewhere and wasnt sure if it was good to use.

ny local stores that carry it? ie staples walmart?

I doubt wal-mart will have it...call local hobby stores, they will have it...Sharky's reef has it but they like triple the price for it... it comes in a huge tube and is equivelent to like 14-15 bottles of superglue and cost like 7 bucks...also home depot has some really good super glue gel.

home depot online doesnt have any super glue listed

saltycritter has the ic gel 7oz for 7 bucks

but i want something tonight

doh

i may have found a place local where i can pick up some ic gel tomorrow, should i get it or is there something better?

Any superglue composed of cyanoacrylate (crazy glue, loc tite superglue, generic no-name superglue, etc.) is fine to use. I've even "borrowed" my wife's nail glue in a pinch. As long as it says it's cyanoacrylate based, you're good to go.

Should be able to buy it just about anywhere - walmart, lowes, HD, drug store, grocery store, maybe even a convenience store. It's just super-glue. :D

yea, but some of it comes in bigger portions for a lot less moola :D

thanks for the help, ive narrowed my search down to

IC gel and Maxi Cure

IC is thick and maxi is super think. im going to try both and see which one works well. one will probably be better for certain uses anyway (deeper cracks/ underhangs etc)

hopefully ill find a hobby store thats somewhat local that has it.

thanks again for the help
