Instant Ocean Vs. Reef Crystals

i have always used IO, but i have heard really good thing from RC. what is your opinions, and if i switch what would be the best way to do so?

I used IO for a long time. price was killing me. So been using RC's for 2 years and it works great and cheaper. started with 10 gallon waterchanges every week for about a month, now i do 35 gallon changes every 2 -3 weeks

Dear hobbyist, IMO , IO is a very good sea salt , yes there are others,but I've been in this hobby for 18 years now,and I've noticed that IO hasn't changed over the years .. Its so easy to use ,and when used with RO/DI water ,IO achieves high standards for your aquarium inhabitants .......

i stopped using both brands when i stopped doing water changes...found that elements degraded quicker than other salts

RC has had some bad batches out there, there are a number of threads on it, it has had lower Mg and Ca then it is suppose to have, equal to IO's levels.

I agree with rbursek, now is not the time to switch.
