intense bidding battle on ebay for SPS.... we have to work together guys!!!!! LOL

You guys are acting like this is a crazy thought. In my other hobbies, my online group of friends try not to bid against each other.

Some of the other bidders may be on here but NO way are all of them, if it ain't worth the $$$ don't bid on it, if you really like it you'll sell your car or something. If you can't run with the big dogs just stay on the porch.

Even if this idea wasn't against eBay's policies (which I'm sure it is), this would last for what, a handful of auctions before sellers stopped bothering with eBay?

If i sell something locally for $40 and I list it on eBay and get $37, the process is relatively worth it if I end up selling more stuff.

If I list it on eBay and it starts selling for $7 I will stop selling there.

Capitalism just sort of works itself out that way....lol.

Amen, brother.

Besides, it's best that "coral frags" produced by chop-shops get bid into the stratosphere on e-bay and other sources.

Extremely high prices for things like "Lightning Maroon" clownfish and "limited edition" corals on e-bay ensures that those that wish to spend their money on such things are appropriately punished in monetary terms for the "look what I've got and you don't" tendency of human behavior. And, it ensures that PT Barnum's rather famous quote about suckers remains true though out the ages. ;) :p
