interceptor for treatment of ich?

I posted this in the reef fish forum as well, but

Has anyone ever treated their tank for red bugs that also had ich. I was going through my reef chemical shelf and I was just wondering if ich (Cryptocaryon irritans) would be affected by the introduction of interceptor much like red buds and other pods.

I guess this is just some food for thought.

Since ich is a ciliated protozoan, not a crustacean like the red bugs, I doubt it would have an effect.

That is what I figured. I guess I need to stop posting my thoughts before a second cup of coffee. Thanks Bill
