if you don't support Reef Central, then you can't search. so joining without subscribing doesn't help you much -- unless you're willing to lift a finger or two to use google.

you can use Google to perform a site-specific search of Reef Central to find the thread, just like i did. instead of doing all of the work for you by posting the link, i'm telling you how you can find the information if you really want to find it, so that you don't have to waste resources by bumping the thread every 8 minutes. a site specific Google search is the quickest way for you to find your answer.

there are two ways for me to approach this problem: to spoon feed you, or to teach you how to help yourself.

now you know how to find the information on your own. please don't bump the threads every 8 minutes looking for someone else to jump to attention to provide you an answer. it is annoying and makes people less likely to want to help you. there's a reason that your thread was read so many times and nobody bothered to answer your question -- you were being ignored. instead of ignoring you like everyone else, i stopped to help you. and i got a wisecracker response as thanks for my efforts. congrats, you're now on my ignore list.

I know how to operate search engines. I thought Reef Central was a forum where people who had questions could get good, truthful answers.

I believe we have a bit of confusion about what is going on about me bumping my thread. I got a coral from a friend, he took his tank down i had little notice, and i wanted to treat this coral before i put it in my system. i dont have seperate frag tank or similar setup for my system and i dont wanna risk my main tank. i have been trying to find out what the recomended dosage is for intercpetor but have only gotten "beating around the bush answers" and never got the answer i needed. some say use a salifert spoonful, well i dont have a salifert spoon, so thats not a relaible measuring unit for me. i dont need 55 gallons of interceptor water, just 1, so i was looking for a recipe for that amount, or basically asking how potent to make the mix.
