Interesting art work on my glass

Woke up to this interesting art work on my tank glass this a.m. I know they are eggs and more likely snails or perhaps some type of worm. This first pic looks like the eggs were mixed with sand before adhereing to the glass.

But the second pic is interesting. Didn't get the greatest pictures I know but these look like tiny etchings. Pretty cool. Neither were there at lights off last night.

So snails? Worms? I've had long, tiny worms on the glass. Translucent. Perhaps spaghetti worms? Also snails of course.

How cool is that! Are they still there on the glass? At least you know they aren't mantis shrimps.

The female carries the eggs until they hatch.

Nope.... they were gone this a.m. Don't know if something ate them or if they hatched already???

Will be sending pics in a new thread of my part 2 that arrived yesterday!
