I was thinking of buying it, but no nothing about its aquarium care. It's a minor fish for food, not seen in the hobby.
It is a Tetraodon, so just like any puffer or trigger, I'd imagine they carry the caution warning for inverts.Nice. Is it reef safe tho? It says with caution.

I would love that fish for my 75gal puffer tank, just too many other projects.
That's the exact problem with fish priced in that bracket. Around $60 or so, to about $100. Not cheap enough to right off shipping costs, but not expensive enough to order on it's own.Oh, ok. I'd get it if it wasn't so expensive. $80 + about $30 shipping = expensive fish.

you know me better than I know myself. I was going to let it go, but once I realized it's related to triggers and puffers, I went ahead and bought it. who knows when I'd ever see another one?I'm acquiring quite a collection of rare and unusual filefish, boxfish and puffers, and, uh, whatever that fish is...
I struggled with the cost too. with shipping it's $115. but I had a $40 credit (I think) that I requested be applied.![]()
I don't know where I have a thread, but here's a list of some of them:
Golden dalmation dogface puffer (rare color morph)
Clown filefish (Cantherhines sp, aka white spotted filefish)
Orange spotted filefish (Canthrhines sp)
Reticulated boxfish (O solorensis)
Tripod fish (just bought, haven't gotten yet)
White spotted toby
Green wolf eel blenny
Marine betta
Brazilian dragon moray
Zebra moray
Emperor angelfish
Blueface angelfish
Blue spotted angelfish
Black tip grouper
Blue spotted rabbitfish
Engineer goby
plus a couple other odds n ends
If I ever get much of a break from work, I'll try to take some fresh pictures.
and, uh, whatever that fish is...
