Interesting pattern on GSM

Hey, I do not ever get misbars from my GSMs, but I have been keeping my eye on this litte guy for a while. Sorry about the blurry pic, he is still very small.

I though he was going to lose the spot, but he is keeping it. Anyway, I am sure you guys have seen much more unusual patterning, but just though I would share.

If he's tiny he might still grow out of it, hopefully not though it would be pretty cool looking.

Think I can market him as a "domino" maroon, and sell him for lots?

I actually saw another maroon (unsure if it was a WSM or a GSM) at an LFS on the east side of Michigan a couple months ago that had a very similar pattern. Sharp looking little fish and I was intrigued but did not have an open tank at the time.

I also am unsure of the origin of that fish whether it was TR or WC...first/only time at that LFS and did not get a chance to chat with the people about it.

I get all sorts of markings like that, I always assume they eventually vanish. The best ever was about a year ago, I had a small gsm with a nearly perfect "lightning bolt" on top of his head. Now that may be a nice touch just about anywhere but here in San Diego ??? ( think Chargers ) I had people bidding on the damned thing :lol:
