Interior Canopy Paint?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently building my canopy right now and I'm just curious what kind of paint you guys use for the interior? My only concerns is I want something durable enough so that it doesn't react with both the heat from the metal halide and the moisture from the tank... Furthermore, is there an equivalent in a spray that you guys would suggest? Thx in advance,

Alex

I used some oil based white paint. Its been working fine for a few years now. I think in the future though ill use the KILLZ stuff since its technically a wet enviornment.

Use white epoxy spray paint.

It's usually sold as 'appliance paint'. pics of my hood with it on in my gallery.

I need to do this too. 3 different opinions though, dosen't narrow it down. I know I want to seal it with kills but what kind of enamel to put over it? Oil base, water base? Satin, flat, gloss? In the past I've used oil based enamel on hoods but I'd like something that dries quicker with easier ceanup.

If you use oil based Kilz use an oil based paint. If you use water based Kilz use a water based paint so it adheres better.
