how much are these fish worth ? my dads friend has one and wants to sell it because he has to move and cannot bring the tank. He said he would sell to me for $500 cause he knows me well and i have a empty 60G waiting for fish. I dont a whole lot about fish, but $500 seems alot for a fish, Is this fish worth it ? Does anyone know anything about them ? i have never heard of them befor.

depends how large he is, but i'd say yes, especially if it's been in captivity for a while

A 60g may be to small for this fish. They get actually get pretty big for a pygmy.
