Interval 1 on the 7095

i was playing around with the controller this morning and noticed that on "Interval 1" on the 7095.. channels 1 and 2 turn off when channels 3 and 4 are on.

I've also read that the pumps shouldn't be stopped more than once a day or something like that (to prevent wear on the brakes?)

I really like the randomness of Interval 1 ...especially when set on a quick interval. (Like on and off every 1 seconds or so)

Is it damaging to the 6100 stream pumps to do that?

With the new one piece drive unit 6100.70 I would have no worries at all. On the older 6100.60 drive unit it is definietly harder on the pump than a longer run time. There are only 2 channels so channels 1 and channel 2 alternate. The best setting for pump life in terms of pump life is Interval 2 with a 3 sec pulse (top and bottom knobs on each channel) and a 6hr interval.
