Interval 1 or 2 using Wavebox and 6100

I am redoing my setup and pulling one of the 6100's out and going with 1 6100 and my wavebox on the opposite corner. The tank is mostly softs, a few lps on one side and 2 sps.

When running a 4ft tank with 1 6100 and a wavebox, do u recommend using interval 1 or 2? also, what would i set the duration too for the stream?

Running the wavebox on the multi will turn it off for part of the day- is this what you want to do? Personally I would just pulse the 6100 and run the wavebox independently.

So, that would be running the wavebox as its own master, right?

If i do that i would have to reopen the controller and set it back to default setting right?

Lastly, run the 6100 in pulse mode on the controller..any time length u suggest and how long of a pulse mode? 3 sec??

I was re-reading my manual this morning and it says to run the 7095 in inveral mode.Why do they mention inveral mode ... you mentioned to have the stream "pulse"? Again, to run the stream as pulse, wouldnt i have to switch the wavebox controller jumper back to default instead of extern.

OR,

if i leave it hooked up the way i do and since i am only using one of my 6100 w/ the wavebox does it matter which channel i connect it to on the 7095? or should it be on the same as the 6100 ? and would that be inverval 2?

The only mode that does anything at all with the wavebox is Interval 1 and it shuts it off for the interval you set. No need to change jumpers unless you will use an extension on the second outlet. With one puimp, the other programs essentially are just pulse mode as nothing else is really possible with one pump.

per you saying only interval 1 turns off my wavemaker, then i could in theory just leave it hooked to channel 1 on my 7095 and use interval 2. Am i right that the wavebox will always run except at night if that is set and the 6100 will always run just alternating the pulse levels?

OR Do i have to do the following?

So just run the 6100 "only" via the 7095..i guess it doesnt matter which channel i hook it too. So which mode am i using for the 6100 via the 7095 then? (Pulse, interval 1, interval 2)???

And for the wavebox controller, are you saying i do not need to switch the jumper back to its default if i run it independent of the 7095? right now it is set to external cause i had the cable running to the 7095 controller.

If you connect the 6091 controller to the 7095 and use anything other than Interval1 you have done absolutely nothing. Nothing has changed over running it on it's own. It still needs it's own photocell, it still is always on at full power.

If you run Interval one and set say a 6hr interval every 6 hrs you alternate from wavebox to 6100 and only one runs at a time.

Finally, i just left the 6091 hooked to channel 1 and the 6100 to channel 2. Set the 7095 to interval 2 with pulse of 3 seconds and time of ~1min. If i am correct that should only affect the 6100 causing it to run at 30% then at ~1min it will pulse to my max then repeat the process.

I guess the amount of time i have it pulse i can reevaluate if i find i want more or less than the ~1 min i have set.
