Interzoo- I will be gone for a long time!

OK, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will not be here from May 2 - May 23. I plan to stay in contact and check in on the forum regularly but I will be in small towns for part of the time and not have internet access. I also am unsure about internet access at Interzoo, if they have a business center or bluetooth or 802.11g or b frequency I will be in good shape, I seem to recall they do. I will have a friend stopping in to fill orders so fax will be the best way to get something, or through the dealers who I will try to leave well stocked, I also can help by PM. Unfortunately I am needed early to layout the exhibit and help set up and finish up some projects and then afterwards I will be in Austria for our biannual meeting. Basically, if you need something repaired or need a part we best get on it now as I will not have anyone who can do anything beyond the most basic repairs such as drive unit replacements. The person I will leave in charge (Bruce Kelley of AquaTek) cannot repair 2002's and 4002's and is not trained to do soldering and electronics repair, he will not be in the office as he has plenty of work to do, he will just check in and handle emergencies to the best of his ability. I wish there was another way but for us to continue our product development and introduce our last 2 years of work to the world I have to go. I will be sure to send pictures of all the cool new inventions we have been working on

Will your absence delay shipments of streams to the dealers?

Of course things won't be 100% while I am gone. Bruce will be checking in for faxes but no phone support. He will be shipping off stuff and shipments will continue to arrive. I will also continue to visit the forum and answer emails to the best of my ability. Basically repairs and phone service will not be ongoing while I am out.

hey! I take offense. Do I get the second best highlight? Perhaps I am not so special, being that we've already met, and I am American and all.

Totally kidding of course. Was a really interesting show though. Wish I didn't go there with a pulled back muscle. Was never able to get totally comfortable.
