Introducing a 2nd helfrichi firefish

Hey guys,

I picked up a helfrichi last weekend, and thinking about picking the 2nd one this weekend. Has anyone ever had issues introducing the 2nd helfrichi at a later date? I'm scared the first helfrichi becoming territorial and aggressive to the new helfrichi.

Personally, I would not do it. I bought a bonded pair from Diver's Den over a year ago. At first, they were fine together, but after a short time, the larger Helfrichi started to harass the other. Eventually, the smaller Helfrichi passed away. I still have the lone Helfrichi, and he is always out in the open with the other fish. They are one of favorites, but IMO, it is better to stay with one.

I tried to keep two and also learned the hard way. Even with lots of food, lots of territory and lots of caves it doesn't matter. They eventually start fighting. Don't put yourself or te fish through it. Stick to one.

Thanks! I will not be buying the 2nd one! Now to decide what would compliment my two clowns and the helfrichi.... Hmmmm
