Hi all! My name is Jeff. I'm about ready to turn 40. I currently live in Watervliet , but grew up in Grafton.
I started the fish hobby when I was 10 with a 10g tank. I kept that for a few years up until about 5 years ago when I got myself a 45g Hex freshwater and I have been running that ever since.
Recently my wife introduced me to some old friends of hers whose husband has a saltwater reef tank that I am buying off of him. If you go to Eddie's Aquarium website, you will see the tank pictured there.
I have always wanted, but was never "wealthy" enough, to get into the saltwater hobby. Until now that is. The tank has been established for at least 5 years now has a great assortment of soft corals and a couple that are a "very" good size. A large clam, some starfish, snails, crabs, lawnmower blenny, six line wrasse, and a black & white damsel.
There is a berlin skimmer, metal halide lighting, sump, pumps, wave maker, and many other gadgets and gizmos.
I am very excited to be getting into this end of the hobby, and hope to meet up with at least some of you in the near future. If anyone has any questions, I would be glad to answer what I can, and I am sure there is a plethera of info to be obtained here when and if the occasion arises.
Thanks all,
Jeff
