Introducing Vic Fontaine the Tuxedo Urchin

My tank is going on a year old so I figured it'd be time to expand my horizons with some more interesting invertebrates.

While still searching for others I have been able to acquire one of my most interesting specimens. He seems very happy, I just hope the algae doesn't start to cover him. At least he's giving my tank a thorough cleaning!

He's gorgeous! Hi Vic :)

I love urchins, they're much more interesting pets than people realize - every morning I go to the tank wondering what Speedy (my pincushion) will be wearing that day. I think he changes clothes more than I do!

What happened to your clownfish/nori clip pic Chrisstie??? That always gave me a good chuckle; I hope that clown is allright.

Haha steven that was hysterical!

Thanks for asking cplklegg! I really should update my picture because there's a little story about that.

I have some friends who I met where I work at an LFS. They ask a lot of really good questions and apparently had been getting some juvenile clowns that just weren't being compatible with their crazy looking BTA - its that "son of ra" version.

At the time I had been looking for a latezonatus clown and I was like well, what am I going to do with Thing 1 and Thing 2? They are about a year old, have been really hardy and good feeders so I asked if my friends would want to adopt them.

Right now they're both doing great in their tank and eating like little piggies and started hosting right away since they were used to my anemone

AND I have this wonderful female latz now instead named Gladys- who is not the easiest to get photographs of so once I do :) Oh yes, she will be in my little icon :)
