I forgot the dimensions 30"x30"x14", so with the 3/4" acrylic it's about 52 gallons and I have about 60 gallons down below.
"amazing what a little elbow grease and TLC will do."
Actually the tank was cleaned too good and the water wouldn't overflow properly for a while. Just not enough slime I guess. I also forgot to mention how important it was to level the tank for even overflow all around. Not easy to do, especially if you forgot and filled it already with water and corals
In case you're wondering about the negatives, I have to pickoff snails everday, before they end up in the overflow. There's a daily splash of water on the sides of the stand, and the humidity in the room is a bit much, so I'm looking for a dehumidifier. And it hasn't happened yet, but I'm just waiting to find cheerios or toys floating in there. So far so good though.

And I don't have any more spare reflectors or AC bulbs to sell/trade you, so you will have to get your next ones from an actual store
.FWIW I think that Eileen (raddogz) also switched to AC bulbs a couple of months back. IIRC she scored some slightly used ones at a really great price.

Where are you finding them so cheap ? I typically see them in the $125 - $130 range (plus shipping).

Unbelievable! That tank is super awesome. I really like the final setup. That looks like a massive amount of work, but worth it I'm sure. So cool.

Meng, just imagine if I had actually got that 240 cube I was wanting. Got everything but the chiller plugged in. Should be okay since the ac and washing machine are on a different line.
I put it there to get the natural sunlight during the day, but now I just got to remember to close the blinds at night, so the neighbor's don't start to think I'm growing other stuff. I might also drill a hole to the bathroom next door, since I got the ro/di in there.
