60g solana. 2 ocellaris, 1 half-black angel, and a freebie crab that came with my coral. I just added my first coral yesterday- blue sympodium. I've always wanted to do a sw tank, but what really reeled (no pun :P) me in was the apex system and being able to automate an ecosystem. So far so good.

wow i guess this thread is dead. It's a shame I thought the military thing was a good idea. I remember when I was in the military and it was very hard to settle down anywhere. I did manage to maintain a small fish tank, but couldn't imagine keeping and or maintaining a salt water aquarium while on active duty.

It's not dead! We mostly just read who posts so we can keep an eye out for each other. I posted a thread in this area and got lots of good discussion. It was about PCS'ing with a tank.

Now I can enjoy a hobby I could only dream about before retirement. Thought I had done pretty thorough research and had a firm foundation of primary education on the subject. NO!!!! Surprise!!!! Met a friend who was getting out of the hobby that changed everything for me. He helped me establish my first starter reef aquarium. And we fell in love. I realized how much I really didn't know, and I renewed his true love of the hobby. Life is not what I expected. Never give up! Always have Hope! Not all of us deserve happiness But we all deserve to be at Peace! Happiness and Love are the fruits of Peace!
